Nouveau Americain opens at the Joyce Soho Theatre on November 19 to 22.

Jamaican dancer Justin Lynch dances this season with Naganuma Dance, a multi ethnic modern dance company based in New York. Naganuma Dance makes its Joyce Soho Theatre debut with Nouveau Americain, a collection of vignettes by Darcy Naganuma and her troupe of  international performers this weekend.

Justin was born in Kingston and trained as a pianist in London at the Royal College of Music and at Boston University.  He later studied dance in New York and Paris with Igal Perry, Peter Schabel and Wayne Byars, among others.

Justin has worked with and performed in dances by artists such as Takehiro Ueyama, Amy Marshall and Isabel Gotzkowsky. Other credits include Ko-Ryo Dance Theater and Mariana Bekerman Dance Company.

Justin has a law degree from Columbia Law School and, when he is not dancing, runs his own law practice serving small businesses and artists.
