Sean Paul Releases Hardcore on Blaze Fia Riddim

With the release of the Blaze Fia Riddim, Grammy Award winning artist Sean Paul has taken his love for music to new heights and added the title of “producer” to his list of accomplishments.

For his debut effort, Sean decided to stick with his true love– dancehall. Blaze Fia is a hardcore old school riddim jam-packed with the top echelon of established Jamaican artists along with the brightest up and comers in the business.

Perhaps most appropriately, the album takes Sean’s musical journey full circle and draws on some of the original members of the Dutty Cup Crew- Looga Man and Mr. Chicken- and of course Sean himself.

Sean’s brother Jason “Jigzagula” Henriques and fellow Coppershot Sound System DJ Shaun “Copper Shaun” Anderson both played strong supporting roles in the production, while veteran songwriter and musician Nigel Staff lent his keyboard talents to the track.
