Major Lazer Launch At Quad Tonight
Guns Don’t Kill People, Lazers Do
Producers/DJs Diplo & Switch (of M.I.A. “Paper Planes” fame among other things) launch their “Major Lazer” project tonight at Quad in New Kingston.
Guaranteed to be different, this is a project that will further spin the urban electronica world on its head (thanks M. Urchin for coining that term!).

Zimboo was the only highlight- Diplo disappointed me with a wack set- he was all over the place and never got his footing, i don’t need to hear some farin yute trying (poorly) to play dancehall- come give us some block rocking funky progressive beats
