A Jamaican Flash Mob in NYC

Here’s an example of some creative marketing by the Jamaica Tourist Board which staged a Flash Mob in Union Square, NYC on May 9.

JTB gave New Yorkers a taste of Jamaica featuring an exclusive dance remix of Ziggy Marley’s “Jamaica In My Head”.

The flash mob commemorated Marley Week and the 30th Anniversary of the passing of Jamaica’s music legend Bob Marley.

This is soooo cool! Think it would work in Half Way Tree or Downtown Kingston?? 🙂

What a super idea this was! I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, and feel so proud to be Jamaican.
I am in Kenya and I listened to reggae music all day to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Bob’s passing…so very cool!
