About Dylan Murray

Dylan Murray’s sound is something that is hard to come by in the music industry these days. His music reflects the relaxed, positive spirit of his persona. Born and raised in Toronto, this singer/songwriter taught himself to play guitar and soon after began writing his own songs.

Since deciding to pursue his dream full-time, Dylan has had nearly two million hits on his website www.dylanmurray.net and has become a mainstay in the underground music arena.

Along with rock and folk influences, Dylan has been particularly touched by reggae music. At age eighteen, a trip to Jamaica would change Dylan’s outlook on life and deepen his musical influences. Throughout his stay on the island, Dylan became immersed in Jamaican culture.

Dylan is dedicated to creating positive movements and refuses to be passive in his fight to help make the world a better place. His experiences have stayed with him in his heart and can be heard in his music. Most recently Dylan Murray charted at number five on Much More Music for his video “I Haven’t Decided Yet” and Canada’s Entertainment Tonight named him “one of the next top five artists to look out for”.

“I refuse to deny myself any of my dreams, and I encourage others to do the same”- Dylan Murray.

Look out for Dylan’s debut album this year. He is also planning to tour the US and Canada later this year.
